My gunsmith uses Pachmayr Decelerator , Kick-Eze and Limbsaver...in that order of preference. According to him, the Limbsavers are too soft, harder to install and don't last as long. They do, however, reduce felt recoil quite well. I put one a Tikka a couple of years ago and it did work. I guess it's a toss-up.
