I've loaded for rifles, but not for pistol yet. I'm looking at the lee dies and was wondering if I need to get the 3 die set or the 4 die set? My gun is a taurus 24/7 semi auto. All advice is appreciated.
I usually hate Lee dies, but I love thier lee factory crimp die. I was having so much trouble loading a 357sig that wouldn't shove the bullet back in the case. And lee's factory crimp was the only one that would crimp it good enough to hold the bullet. 357sig is a flawed round in the first place but thats a different story.
I do like lee's 4-piece deluxe set with the factory crimp die. I use the factory crimp die for all semi auto pistol now. I still use the roll crimp built into carbide dies for revolver.
