Gander melts them down for round balls, claims that shoot straighter and penetrate deeper, don't break apart and are very easy to load in his rifles. Only problem is cost, at $1/PB he only gets 2 round balls out of a350g PB.

Very nice fish, looks like a lake trout, is that what it is? My dad use to take me fishing for them near PennYan, which is not far Trumansburg I believe. He cought some but I never did, but I liked stopping at the places on the way back for a Hamburg and soda.
