I always thought I had ADD or something in those lines. I hated staying in one place for long if I didnt see or hear anything.
Be persisitant. If you are going to dedicate yourself to a stand, stay there for the duration of the day. Bring some munchies and water, but stay there until you can say that you gave it your all in that place. Too many times I have left early, only to jump a deer close to, or heading in the direction of where I was.
Go as high as you can in your stand. The wind will be less of a factor, as well as the deer are less motivated to be looking up.
When you do make a kill, thank God for giving you the opportunity!!
