Go to www.customsawing.com and they have everything you need to build your own slate or glass call. I made a glass over glass in a walnut pot and 2 strikers recently that I bought from them. Turned out pretty decent for my first attempt. There are also instructions on how to build one on their website. As far as putting a pic under the glass, you can glue one under the top piece of glass by just putting glue around the very edge of the picture or put it onto the top of the second piece of glass. Vinyl stickers will work if you can get them. Good luck!
