Default RE: Remington Genesis

ORIGINAL: TNHagies

This board doesn't seem to like them for some reason.-I know there's a lot of very experienced people on here that know what they're talking about but I'm puzzled on this one. I personally know of two people that have soldthier MK-85 and an Omega to get the Genesis. But to each his own of course.Get what YOU like since you're the one that's going to be hunting w/it.
Greetings TNHagies,

We are all biased based on our experience and knowledge, nobody has tried each and every gun, Bowbender above has 10, so he has good basis to compare. I was basically responding tothe poster'sdesire for a TC, further since he has a 7 year old son I was trying to give input on how to save money on another brand that would in my opinion shoot just as well. I have no basis to know if the Genesis is a good rifle or a bad rifle, and therefore I said nothing about it. You are providing that input--and it is excellent input, I might add.As another optionhis rifle is $199 over on the Traditions Web site:

http://www.traditionsfirearms.com/eshop/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=R73003450

wow, that would be a great deal for a good MLer (I believe having a young family with old cars new house paymentand not a lot of money hinders a lot of young hunters---I know it did me with I was 25 to 35). Best Wishes, Chap
