Default RE: Remington Genesis

ORIGINAL: vaslugger

Just wondering what results any one has had
with the Remington Genesis. How accurate is it
and how easy is it to clean.Cabelas has a real
good price on them this month as I can get a
synthetic stock with stainlees barrel for around
280.00 and after rebate its around 255.00.I had
a Model 700 ML and was the most accurate I have
ever owned but was a chore to clean.I would
rather get a TC but just cant swing the money with
have a 7 year old son atthis time.Any input would
be much appreciated on this Remington Genesis
good or bad.Thanks Alot! Mike
I hunt in VA and have shot MLer for the last 9 years. I believe you would be better served with an Omega, about the same price, easier to clean, accurate as heck. 300g Nosler Partition, 100g of 777, Crushed Rib sabot, Winchester primer.

The TC Omega Z5 is $300 at Cabelas, I used open sights my first year MLer hunting, got several deer with open sights, no problem out to 100 yards:
