Didn’t draw an Elk tag and looking for a hunt?
Whether the odds didn’t go your way this year or if you didn’t even apply, there are still options for you chase bull elk in the mountains this fall. One great option is for Colorado’s 3rd season Bull Elk (over the counter tags in unit #25). This hunt takes place in the Flat Tops Wilderness area of the White River National Forest. It is the biggest herd in the US. You can hunt on your own in a drop camp or semi-guided or guided with guides/wranglers. These hunts are in remote tent campsites, and the hunter gets in and out by horseback while hunting on foot
Drop Camp Price $1,650
Semi Guided $2,750
Guided $3,750
We also still have space available for the last week of archery. Guided or Semi Guided. This is the most reliable week to be hunting in the rut. And we have one camp open for an archery drop camp the 8th to the 14th of Sept - 3 hunters minimum.
Let me know if we can set you up for a great elk hunt this fall.
