RE: High Elevation Archery Elk Hunting
My experience at 6000-9000 ft wasn't bad at all. I came from about a 900'-1100' location. I was in pretty good shape heading into the trip, the first couple days were a little rough, but I got much stronger as the time went on.
I'm jogging several times a week, and taking long hikes on weekends, I have around 10# to drop yet. I'm 5-10 188, I'd like to get under 180, 175 would be better. Sept 19 can't get here soon enough.
