My two most nervous events happened while I was checking traps. The first one was when I was about 14, I was walking along a strip of woods/brush with grassy areas on either side. I saw a guy in camo on the other side of the brush and kept an eye on him. He was just standing there, stock still. As I approached a little open spot between him and me, I saw him move. I realized he had drawn his recurve bow back and was about to shoot me. I jumped back and yelled 'Person here!'. He let down and was very shaken. He gibbered on about how he almost shot and that I shouldn't be walking around in the woods.

(yeah, it would be
my fault.)
My second was when I stumbled upon a guy pleasuring himself out in the woods. That in itself was bad enough. However, instead of him leaving, he tried following me around and making small talk. Since I was muskrat trapping, I waded out into the lake where he couldn't/wouldn't follow. I was worried I might need to take him out with a 110 conibear. [
