I was in the military and it doesn't bother me any. I actually volunteered to put my life on the line to protect your right to do that very thing. Whether I agree with it or not doesn't matter it is your right. I think those DC laws are a bit unconstitutional myself. Sort of infringes on your right to express yourself the way I see it.

The other part that is listed is simply guidelines to show you how to go about paying respect to an actual FLAG of the United States, they are not rules or laws, just accepted practices.

Your not supposed to deface or ruin money either, but it happens a lot, and that is actually a law.

I don't consider your wraps as disrespectful since they are not an actual flag that you altered, destroyed or turned into something else. They are simply a patriotic logo. Now if they were used in an Anti American way then I would consider it disrespectful.

My opinions and nothing more.
