Default RE: Is the flag on our hunting gear Disrespectful??

You know this has got me a little torn here. I did learn a lot by reading through a lot of the flag code contained on other sites as well as here and I have to say I feel like all or rather most of the issues deal with respect for the flag and depending on how it is used I think honestly some things on the code need to be updated. For example according to the code a flag tatoo is ok but a woman who lost both her sons in Iraqwho paints their faces next to a flag on her car is not. It is a "code" and it is being ammended all the time, but for now I will refrain from putting it on my arrows as I certainly would not want to offend anyone who is familiar with the code, especially with many of those "people" probably being vetrans. It is too easy for me to pick something else that is not on the line of acceptance. I just hate not seeing the flag more in our country in what I consider to be trying times.

Back to the wraps drawing board. any ideas?
