RE: MA Bill to Close Hunting Land Not Posted
I grew up in Western Massachusetts and knew of many landowners who did not mind peoplehunting on their property and therefore did not put up "No Hunting" signs but I wonder how many of them would go to the trouble and expense to post their land with signssaying that "hunting is specifically authorized"? Putting up signs that say hunting is authorized might also be construed as inviting people on to their land to hunt which could have serious legal consequences if a hunter was injured on such a property.
