Default RE: Why do you hunt public land?

I hunt public land for advantage.

The more properties I have.. the greater my advantage as a bowhunter.

Every property whether private or public give me endless possibilities on where I can hunt that day.. or even that next day. As a bowhunter I can never have to much land.

If we all believe a whitetail buck lives in a home range thats about 1,000 to 2,000 acres generally (it says generally people).. than why not have as much of that acreage as possible.

Give me the options. I only see it as an advantage to hunt public. I've yet to come across a piece of public that I didn't believe would hold a good buck during a particular time of the season.
