I've heard that the 200 SST does well at high velocities - I'm not worried about pushing it that fast for deer-sized game. I just like it because it shoots so well in my rifle - 1.25" - 1.5" groups at 100 yards. The 200 grain .40 cal XTP does well at high velocities too - I've seen them hold up and penetrate at 1800+ fps impact velocity. I just wish there was more of a bullet selection in the .40 cal - not much to pick from
