Alpine isn't the only company that's paying contingency.
Alpine is VERY close to the bottom of my list for target bows. They are just ahead of Oneida.

If you are going to buy a new bow, buy something that's proven, as far as winning. I'm not sure what your draw length is, but it's honestly hard to overlook PSE, Hoyt, and Mathews on the target circuit. Don't kill me Bowtech guys, they just aren't really
proven professionally. That could be contributed to the fact they don't payout.
Pretty much, what I'm saying is, don't buy an Alpine.
You have to place top 3 to get contingency too, you can buy a better bow to help you get to that point. Don't buy a bow, just because you can get money if you win or place.
