I recently aquired a Rottie pup of approx. 12-15 weeks old. He' s gettin big fast and want to start training him.Any suggestions on methods etc would be appreciated as I have owned several dogs in the past but never trained one for hunting.This would be primarily upland bird hunting and maybe a little goose.

Please do not tell me that Rottie' s are " bad" dogs or a poor choice for hunting." Bad" dogs are the result of bad owners and we didn' t get him as a hunting dog,so he will be going more as a companion than anything,but I figure he may as well join the hunt rather than just stand there and watch!
