After my experience with Polaris I wouldn't own another one.God help you if you need to deal with Polaris's so called customer service.
You got that right about thier customer service.......BUT I havent had too deal with them with my sportsman or Ranger but found out with my son's 50cc preditor just how bad they are..
Have own Polaris since 94 and have never had a problem that wasnt cause by me

,I fixed said problem myself......Also fixed the 50cc preditor myself....
I had a 1997 Sportsman 500. I bought it new and it only had somewhere around 350 hrs on it when I sold it.There were always minor problems with it. It did run good,I'll give credit for that.The belt cover had warped and Polaris had made a revision to the belt covers. Made out of a more heat resistant material.All I wanted from Polaris was the new part number. That way I would be able to order the revised belt cover and not one of the original ones.Their customer sevice what it is refused to give me any information. All the woman could say was take it to you dealer.It wasn't much after that I sold it and bought a new 06 Honda TRX 680.If I can't get service after the sale then I don't need to buy their products.
