My father-in-law and I will be on a archery whitetail hunt with Putnam County Outfitters the last week of archery season. Our hunt is scheduled for Nov 8-12. We will be leaving that outfitter on the 13th which is Thursday. We have also purchased firearm permits, and are looking for a place to hunt in or arround the Putnam County area with about 35 miles or so for opening day of firearm season, which is Nov. 15th. Our outfitter can't work us in for opening day, so this is the reason we a looking at other options. Also, if we have not filled our archery tags by the time we leave the outfitter on Nov 13th, we would be interested in bowhunting the evening of the 13th and full day of the 14th until the hunt on opening day rifle season on the 15th. We will plan to leave out on Sunday, Nov. 16th. So it's only a single day gun hunt with the possiblility of 1 1/2 days of bowhunting. We do not require pre hung stands or food provided.
