The 150 gr. bullet wt. will do everything you need it to do. That is one swwet rifle, and I know you'll love it. I would look into the Accubond or Scirocco bullet loadings or something like the nosler partition. All those have worked wonders for me. If you are looking for a little extra oomph, look into the Hornday light mag SST loadings for the .308. I have swapped completly to the Hornady light mag in all my rifles. I have found them to be both accurate and very deadly.

Some folks say that they don't live up to their advertised extra velosity and energy, but that could not be farther from the truth in my experiences. I started using them 2 years ago, and they perform as Hornady says. And they don't really cost any more than other premium ammo , and are actually less than some of the regular bigname brand stuff.I havebought 14 Boxes of light mag ammo since last season. Thats how impressed I have been with it.
