I've always carried 3 or 4 for probably 25 years. Last year I bought a new quiver that holds 6, so I put my best 6 arrows in it. I usually start the season with 15-18 set up with broadheads in my arrow case. Last thing I want to have to do is start tuning broadheads in the middle of the season or just before a trip.
