Fran that looks like fun. 600 yards is a crap load of air between you and that hog. The furthest shot I could take on my place is about 200 yards. I nailed a porky at 250 with the 7mm, I saw him up in an oak tree and took him out.It was funn watching his fat arse fall out of that tree.
Al you must be young because wood chipping is not FUN.It was a the hardest thing I did all year. 8 hours of hauling brush and ramming it through the but end of that noisey bastard was not a walk in the park. Maybe if I wasn't hung over it wouldn't have been so bad
Just kidding I only had 3 beers the night before.
We still aren't getting any good pics. There's alot of scrub bucks. My neighbor thinks we have a pic of that big 10 point from last year but I think the deer is too small. If it is him we are going to be in trouble with antler size because he is only a 1/2 of wht he was last year. With the hard winter we had it might have took a toll on him.We stopped putting out corn because of the bears I saw 1 Saturday and had a 3 differant sets of tracks going past my cabin.
We are heading back up for the 4th it's family time so no work just alot of play. So everybody have a good holiday and stay safe.
