RE: Need some advise here 50-60 or 60-70
I know you've decided on a bow already butI have to say my peace.
Seems to me a lot of guys on here talk about arrow weight and momentum being the most important thing until someome asks what poundage of bow to shoot. Then, everyone tells a guy/girl to buy a low poundage bow and shoot a light arrow so they stilll have the speed. Ethically, you want to shoot the highest poundage bow you can comfortably shoot with at least a moderately weighted arrow.
An experienced archer knows that a new shooter can develope the muscles to handle the full poundage of a bow in a short time if they shoot enough. Therefore, telling someone that if you can not shoot 70 lbs right now you shouldn't buy a 60-70 bow is rediculous if that person has the physical capabilities of doing so.that being said if it's a new archer they probably should start with 50-60 to work on form.
