Sorry to get you ruffled, mike2355. I wasn't involved in the second event, and no I wouldn't have done that. And I agree with you, these guys were not hunters. Pretty unsporting to take birds sitting on the water. But . . . there is a funny element to that story!!!
Shooting ducks off the water doesn't make you any less of a hunter, but it is in my humble opinion unsportsman like (and legal where I live).
