Old Elk hunter you haven't even tried the Buris Sig. Zee rings rings from the sounds of things. Don't knock something unless you have the facts. These are Weaver style. If you tried to twist them into place you have a serious problem. They slide on like a Picatinny rail. Sure there are better rings out there but for the money these are pretty nice. If you are looking for the best go with the Badger Tactical rings. I'm just saying instead of spending $150 for Badger you can use the Burris and they will not mark up any scope you put into them. Oh yea did anyone say self align no lapping needed.
If they are made of the same crap steel that the rotary dovetail models are made of they aren't worth the packaging they are put in. I have purchased 3 pairs of Burris signature rings all rotary base and all a piece of crap..did you want me to purchase more of the same?
