I have shot several revolvers-both scoped and red dot optical sighted and if you are wanting pinpoint accuracy,I would reccomend a conventional scope. However if you want it for hunting,the red dot optical sights such as trijicon will work great-especially with deer size game in mind. Trijicon makes excellent products. Stick with smaller size dots up to 4moa max.
