I once missed a doe at 8 yards from the ground.. perfectly broadside and she had no idea I was there.

I shot like 3 feet over her and smack into a tree.

I was in shock at first.. but have since laughed a great deal at myself.
Sorry Duke but thats hilarious!! I got a good chuckle out of that one.

As for me I've missed one deer in 22 years of bow hunting. Shot over her back with my recurve at 10 yards. I forgot I did hit one bear in the foot also with my compound at 10 yards, my only wound bow hunting. That still ticks me off yet to this day.
