Perfect? Thats the beauty of it, there are so many of them. One I love the most is a clear cold morning when I get to the stand early and there is just a light breeze in my face. It is still dark when I climb up so all I can see are the heavens above and vague shadows below...but I can hear every living creature within 200 yards and sometimes further. I love to just listen, I can hear the deer, the raccoons, the mice, and many other creatures - maybe an owl or two. I can smell the leaves and the woods in general - maybe a hint of alfalfa or fresh picked corn or beans depending on where I am. Even though I cannot shoot yet that is one of my favorite times.
