ohioduckhunter and pajack yes Eric is " Special" he was born with cerebral palsy and epilepse he is prone to life threatning seizures but he has been under control with meds for about 6 mos. now finally. He has very limited use of his left hand and arm he also has a short leg so walking long distance over uneven ground is very difficult for him . so I need to get him a crossbow and somthing to help him hold it. we are going to go on a handicapped hunt at the end of Oct. in southern ILL. I have been in contact with the ILL. DNR and the paper work for his crossbow permit is in the mail. So pajack the web sites you mentioned may help alot.
