Perhaps it shouldn't be a law and seatbelts shouldn't either but then you should not be able to sue or collect government aid due to injuries incurred because you chose not wear either one. No one wants the government breathing down their neck but no one seems to want to take responsibility for the results of thier bad decisions either.

I agree 100%....But then again, one shouldn't be able to draw government aid because they're too damn lazy to work either, but they do. Want a raise? Ok, have another kid. Simple as that.
That is not really the case any more. Look into the "
Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, Public Law 104-193, better known as the Welfare Reform Bill". But this is wandering into "politics" and that's not really what I come here for LOL
