Geesh sproul, are you reporting all these lawbreakers you know of?
very few IF ANY of us report a violation.
here is example, we set up the ROBO deer, who did we catch, 80 YR OLD retired and sick road hunters.
true outlaws ,you very seldom catch them.
today ,people are scared of others and turn their heads.
a lot of outlawing can be reduced.
biggest blunder out there is horn retriction for juniors.
it should be 3 points for all of us ,THEN those BROWN ITS DOWN CROWDwith kid along or tag will be history.
next, this thing with 5 year old kids is joke, its just another way to reduce herd and outlaws LOVE it.
stopping those 2 things would be great thing, but i dont see it happening.
if we all went by rules, i would be in favor of everything out there, but only fool would think that those 2 things above are great way to improve our hunting and only fool would think that rules are not being violated using above.
i said before when i got my big buck i almost did not get because i went by rules and waited to see 3 POINTS ,almost lost him..
you know what a group of hunters said to me,sproul SHOOT..............................they looked at me like i was nuts .
Sproul, you are truly unbelievable. You continue to rant about a program designed to encourage youth to takean interest inour sport when our numbers are deteriorating at an alarming rate. At the same time, you rationalize, defend, and fail to report all these "ALLEGED" poachers you see.
First of all, I think I speak for a lot of us here when I say that the stories you tell of lawbreakers are so numerous and outlandish that no rational hunter anywhere in this state can be expected to believe that they are real. It appears that you have too much time on your hands and spend it dreaming up all these wild "what if" scenarios and then writing them here expecting us to beleive them. Guess what? We're not buying it!
Even worse, when asked if you report these terrible crimes against our wildlife you always say things like: they're old, they're just feeding their family, they're not bad people etc etc etc. If these incidents really existed, you would be just as bad as these poachers because you continually defend them. The reason you arent reporting them and the reason we haven't heard about this "rats nest" of poachers in your area from anyone but you is that they exist only in your mind.
Of course poaching exists! But if any one man could really have seen, experienced, or know of as many incidents as you claim, there would be no game of any kind left anywhere.
Like many of us, you are obviously getting long in the tooth. Someone with your years of hunting experience has the opportunity to make a difference by being a role model and by mentoring young hunters. Instead you choose to take the role of the bitter old curmudgeon who obviously lets his frustration over his lost youth cause him to turn on those fortunate enough to still have their hunting life and career ahead of them. Your posts tell a story of a very bitter, frustrated old man who needs to walk away and stop trying to damage our sport simply because your days left to enjoy it are getting fewer.
Maybe you ought to take up bowling or golf........
