Sounds like a plan, every time I go out I learn something, sometimes I even make myself mad with the "I shouldas"....
What you wanna do is the way to go, go learn some deer, watch em and realize that there isn't any general pattern, but there is something you can use to your advantage.
I have alot of respect for those to admit that they don't know anything about deer and hunting, that's what makes it hunting, and that's why its special.
