Ditto c903! All this CRAP (for worry that cussing might get you tagged by a moderator ) makes meat hunters look like weenies cause they want to fill their limit and get some meat in the last 3 months of the year rather than buy it throughout the next year. I hope that, tho I would take a shot at a nice buck, I don' t move through the infamous " hunting stages" wherein you go through the trophy stage.
Again, don' t get me wrong I' d take a shot at a nice buck, I' ll try and call them in... it' s just the prestige mystique that' s tainting everything. 6 figures off of one buck... that' s sick. What did he (or any other hunter) do to deserve to pull that off? Make a decent shot at 30-40yds (or whatever it was)?? I do that almost daily when I shoot on my lunch break... Where' s my 6 figures?? Pay up boys...
