Hello all, first time on the message board.

I' m in PA and itching to get the season started. I would agree that the season does seem a little late, but fortunately I' ve heard toms gobblin' in the mid-morning and late evening for the past 10 days. What I' d really like to see is a second tag for later in the season. Maybe something like, one bird may be taken during the first 2 weeks of the season, with a second bird available starting the third saturday. I think New York does something like that. Who knows they may do something like that and at the same time introduce a " turkey stamp" to get a few extra bucks out of us.

PS I know I' m writing at a time when I should be in the woods, but I' m stuck on public land this year so I' m sitting out the opener and hoping things calm down for Monday.
