if you are going to use it forvarmint hunting you can not beat the 240 wby I just wishWeatherby loaded it in a 26" barrel.
"If" the brass could be bought from some other maker, (read better quality) and "if"you didn't have to pay double because it says WBY on it, then MAYBE i'd agree with you... But for my money, there's several better 6mm rounds out there just because of the brass alone...
BTW, my Remington 700 chambered in 240 Wby. has a 26" bbl...
