Default RE: If money & time were no object

First, I'd invest the money, and maximize my interest return. I'd then construct an annual budget, living strictly off of the interest income (after taxes) - and see what I was working with.

I'd take the principal to the grave with me, and do everything possible to protect it from tax. The only things I'd buy, right off the bat would be: A house in Corolla, NC, A 500 acre farm in SW Ohio, and a half-million dollar home on 100 acres within an hour of Pittsburgh.

Once I had a solid budget worked out - I'd travel. Spring shed hunts all over America's breadbasket. Grand Slam the turkeys every year. Buy a badass boat, keep it docked in NCand big game fish off the east coastover the summer. Spend the entire fall hunting various game in various locations with various people. The company would be more important than the game. I'd complete the North American Slam, not because I really want to - but just because I could.

Just because I'm not a money-waster, I'd still bargain-shop and try to work out as many hunt-swaps as possible.

For every week of hunting, I'd take a week to travel with my wife/family: England, France, Ireland, Fiji, Thailand, Maui, Costa Rica, Lake Tahoe, etc...

If money was no object, I'd probably travel2 weeks (max)per month. That would give me plenty of time to relax and recharge before each trip.
