Hey there, Schultzy! Congrats on Dad's Day the First!
This is my 19th but it's a first for me too. This is my first one as an Army Dad, without my boy at home. Army's got him tucked away at Fort Gordon for advanced training. He just got an invitation to go to West Point, based on his enlistment test scores. I told him I'd be all over it like a chicken on a June bug if it was me, especially with the economy and civilian job market these days, but he's got his own path to follow. Only being some 10 weeks after getting out of basic training, he hasn't figured out yet if he likes the Army enough to make a career out of it.
Still, an invitation to West Point is quite an honor and, yeah, I'm bragging! But it's allowed. Says so right there in the Man Law, 1st Amendment to the Dad's Bill of Rights.
Happy Fathers Day, everybody!
