Thanks for the responses, and to answer; Yes I took the bolt completely out and no the manual did not address it specifically. It does address not turning the limbolts out more than recommended with the exception of the Guardian and Commander. So, I assumed I was o.k. I back both out to the point that I could see daylight throught the holes on the side and still could not remove the string. That's when I went all the way with the top bolt. Which I got I back together, but there must be an trick to make it easier.

The manual reads like it was written for a few models and If ya advertise no bow press needed why not give a little instruction on how that works? Or is this common knowledge that I have not picked up on this forum yet?
