My brother lost 18 trees on his 4 acres by the dells, but the house was spared. He was lucky. I was up by Lake Delton this past weekend seeing my Dad. Sunday we made a trip over to Ho-Chunk casino to do a little gambling since the weather was rotten. Coming from Oxford towards the Wisconsin dells, the destruction got more evident the closer we got to the dells. We actually were going to go down the road that was eventually washed away by the high waters on Lake Delton. But, they had the road blocked off because of water over the road there. , so we had to go another way. To think only hours later the lake drained, just blows me away. When I saw the video,

I was just shocked! 
To think a whole lake can drain that fast is just unbelievable! I feel for the people that lost their beautiful house's on that lake. But Thank the good Lord, no one was injured! It's going to take a long time for that once beautifullake to fill up again.
