I am willing to bet that the finish on the ce is slicker than that of the other arrow or the diameter on the ce is smaller or both of the above.I recently bought 2 ce 350s to try and shot them along side my old arrows which were heavier but had a larger diameter and a rougher finish and the ce 350 penetrated the target .5 inch more than my old arrows.
