I also have shoulder problems and have gone to mostly 60 lb. bows. But some of the new super speed bows, like the PSE X force, bother my shoulder more at 50 lbs. than a smooth moderate bow, like the Bowtech General, does at 65 lbs. No free lunches here, IMO. There isn't much you can't do with a 250 fps bow.
