I just talked to a guy who sells them a couple miles down from the Cuddeback main office.

They are now being made in China instead of the U.S. so that is why the price is cut on them and b/c both the new captures aren't going to have the video mode on it and all the advanced features last year's model had.

He said he had the the new IR Capture set up and had one of the guys who works at Cuddeback run as fast as he could 30 feet away from the camera and the picture was very clear. As the older IR models tended to be a bit blurry. The trigger is now called Hair Trigger on them and it's faster than the trigger speed on last year's models.
