RE: YOUR LONGEST 1 SHOT KILL
I was probably 9 or 10 years old, had a Crosman 766 pump action pellet gun. There was a flock of starlings on the other side of a valley, must have been 250-300 yards away. There were about 500 starlings in the flock, and they were leapfrogging and flying over each other as they were feeding. Anyway, I gave the gun 10 pumps, aimed about 50 feet above the flock, and fired. 499 of the starlings flew off, one stayed.
