Thanks for the advice Chuck, but I have one more question and why would you use 20# power-pro on one rod and not 20# suffix?
Thanks in advance.
Bobby
20 pound Power Pro isequivalent to 8 pound diameter..
20 pound Suffis is thick..The pressure is tough in Florida so you got to go skinny line..
Power Pro covers that problem...and it is tough WHEN tied with a Palomar knot..It cast
ok...
now..the 12 pound Suffix cast a mile..

it's
excellent..and you can use that long casting to keep from spooking fish..I would only use Power Pro in the Stick Marsh..like Oneshot said..to horse bass out of the timber. My son and I plan to fish Stick Marsh as well...Some friends told me my boat may be too small..The gators are huge there..and not to shy either.[:-]
PS..Just a reminder to still set that drag..An 8 pound bass with a tight drag can still pop ole Power Pro..It's not unbreakable..

just tryto get Mrs. Hawg out the limbs before she goes to crazy on ya..
NOTE**** Most of the ramps are out.We are having a drought..Most lakes are 1/2 way dried up..[&o]I push my boat off the bank..
