the action fit evenly to the bedding block and the recoil lug fit pretty snug as well against the rear wall of the recoil lug "slot". No alterations needed to be made to that area as far as i could tell, but because the bedding block looked a little rough, i might glass bed just to be safe and make sure no pressure spots are being applied to the action.
