I just finished the first two mornings of the 2003 Missouri Spring Season by failing miserably.
I have a blind right in the middle of Turkey City but have been calling my butt off and the old Gobblers are acting like I don' t even exist.
This morning a Gobbler and four Hens flew down off their roost right in front of me but out of gun range. I tried everything, even feeding clucks trying to lure the hens over to my decoy hoping they would bring Ole Tom who was completly ignoring me.
My question is, is their something I could have done to lure Ole Tom away from his current girlfriends?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
