really i only fish for trout and salmon most of the time i would have killed the pike and or pickeral and then taken my lure out [&:]it isnt right probably but thats just how i is pike were illeagally stocked in maine waters and the state is trying to get rid of them all. that could have somethin to do w/ how i look at it. if it were a trout or salmon that this happened too i would probably keep it regaurdless of the size. i seriously doubt it would survive w/ a mepps in him.
