That's my point...just because they told you it would be shipped at 30lbs doesn't mean it was. Hell it doesn't even guarantee it's a 30-40 lbs bow (stranger mistakes have been made before) It should say on the limbs somewhere the limbpoundagerange.

Is there any place you can bring it to have it measured? That NEEDS to be done first before any adjustments can be made. If you can't then there is another way around it. You can bottom the limbs all the way (max poundage...40 in your case) then call Diamond and ask how may turns out from full max is safe. This should get you down to the lowest setting of the bow.

Without a scale that's about the only way to be close to your lowest setting....Good luck.
