today i was fishing and i got a hit on a red and white 0 meps spinner and i got a hit i thought it was a small trout, it got closer and i saw it was a small northern and it was prob. 11 inches long and i got it up and i saw that the treble hook was caught in its gills after 20 minutes of geting cut by sharp teeth i finnalygot the hook out of the gills anh put it in the water it is dead but i am just wondering what is worth more a seven dollar of the baby northern i almost just cut the line but i dont no what do you think is worth more.
not going to lie, i would probably have just kept working at pulling the hook out. if it ended up dying and the fish was in season and i would have kept it no matter how big it was.
