What do you mean naming the guns? I thought thats what this thread was all about? [&:] I happen to be very proud of my collection because they're all mine, each one tended to and customized to my liking. I bought them all with my own hard-earned. I've painted a few since the picture was taken, my .270 is now in multi-cam and Badgerboy painted one of his AR-15s coyote tan. We can strip them down to a pile of metal and put them back together without once referencing anything. I know all of their little parts and pieces like they were my own children. A little obsessed? I do have pet-names for them too if you'd like to know those . I forgot to mention that I also keep a Mossberg Maverick 88 12g. in my apartment. She's got an 8 round mag w/ a heat shield and iron sights. She's loaded with the first two shots being 00 rubber buck shot, bird shot,next is 00 law enforcement grade buck shot, then rifled slugs following. She's purely for self-defense.

Iron sights are the only way to go IMO. Moreover, lever-actions are the best way to go. Scope narrows your field of view and is generally uncomfortable. I've never used a dot sight, but will probably put one on one of the AR-15s.
